The scabs are falling off

It has 9 days since surgery and the scabs are falling off. Ben woke me up at 5 this morning spitting up blood. I think it is just the scabs falling off. He was crying and told me his throat really hurt. I gave him a drink and tried to give him some lortab, instead he spit up blood tinged medicine. I'm not sure how much he actually swallowed, but I can already tell it is going to be a long day! I hope he feels better for trick or treating tonight.
